_cell.reciprocal_length_b

Name:
_cell.reciprocal_length_b

Alias:
_cell_reciprocal_length_b

Definition:

    The reciprocal of the _cell.length_b.
The reciprocal-cell lengths are related to the real cell by:

    recip-a = b*c*sin(alpha)/V

    recip-b = c*a*sin(beta)/V

    recip-c = a*b*sin(gamma)/V

where V is the cell volume.

    Reference: Buerger, M. J. (1942). X-ray Crystallography, p. 360.
New York: John Wiley & Sons Inc.

Type: Real

Units: reciprocal_angstroms

The permitted range is 0.0 → infinity

Evaluation method:

    _cell.reciprocal_length_b = Norm ( _cell.reciprocal_vector_b )

Category:
cell
