This is version 2.5.0 of the powder CIF dictionary (pdCIF). A commentary on the use of this dictionary, which also discusses the organization of powder data sets, especially for studies of multiphase samples and for studies referring to external calibration standards, may be found in Chapter 3.6. The data names defined here complement those in the core CIF dictionary (Chapter 4.2) and should be used to describe the results of powder diffraction studies

Keywords: crystallography; CIF; CIF dictionaries; Crystallographic Information Framework; pdCIF; powder Crystallographic Information File; data names; data categories; DDLm.
