K. Shankland. International Tables for Crystallography (2019). Vol. H, ch. 4.1, pp. 386-394  [ doi:10.1107/97809553602060000956 ]

Abstract

This chapter provides an overview and summary of the wide variety of methods that are available for crystal structure determination from powder diffraction data, and is intended to serve as an easy-to-read introduction to the subject. Each method is discussed briefly and illustrated with examples of solved crystal structures, and the strengths and limitations of each method are highlighted.
