4.2. Powder dictionary (pdCIF)

Abstract
This chapter presents the contents of the powder CIF dictionary (pdCIF).
The data names defined in the pdCIF dictionary complement those of the coreCIF dictionary and should be used to describe the results of powder diffraction studies.
Version 1.0.1 of the pdCIF dictionary contains definitions for 180 data items grouped in 18 categories (including 17 categories that do not appear in the coreCIF dictionary).
