PDB exchange CIF Dictionary
The Protein Data Bank exchange CIF dictionary (pdbx) includes and
extends the
macromolecular CIF dictionary
(mmCIF) to describe all aspects of data processing and database operations
necessary for the deposition of macromolecular crystal structures in the PDB.
It is not directly supported by the IUCr through COMCIFS, but complements
work on, and maintains compatibility with, the mmCIF dictionary. Currently
the pdbx dictionary is maintained by the staff of the Research Collaboratory
for Structural Bioinformatics (RCSB).
