International Tables for Crystallography
| Diffraction anomalous fine structure: experiment and data analysis International Tables for Crystallography (2024). Vol. I [ doi:10.1107/S1574870722005407 ] Abstract In this chapter, the main experimental aspects of diffraction anomalous fine-structure spectroscopy (DAFS) are reported. The basic formalism is given in Renevier & Proietti (2024). The most relevant issues concerning data acquisition, data reduction and extended DAFS fitting are highlighted. Multiwavelength anomalous diffraction is briefly illustrated since it is intimately related to DAFS. A selected bibliography provides several examples of applications that are fundamental for a full understanding of this powerful spectroscopic technique. |
